Welcome to the 700 Voices site!
This site was created to simplify the in's and out's of discovering yoga and the sacred music aspect of chanting and meditations at our classes, weekend camp outs, individual concerts, or the annual 700 Voices weekend event. Since our beginning we have been inviting some of this country’s best sacred music artists Such as: Krishna Das, Wah!, Beth Mullin, Snatam Kaur, Eddy Nataraj, Fumio Taniguchi, Sat Kartar, Shantala, Durga Das ( David Newman), Guru Ganesha Singh, Steve Gorn, John De Kadt, Narinjin Kaur, Sita's Light, Sat Kirin, Harnam Singh and many others...

we will have a variety of choices available
Full or half day pass / Weekend pass / Evening concert pass
Our Annual 700 voices sacred music festival is always a highlight of every year and will take place this year on Saturday June 12th 2010 at the Kent community house (on route 7 just north of the R.R. tracks) Kent Connecticut.
Beginning at 9 a.m. The theme is “ The Next Level” A journey through the chakras” ( 7 energy centers of the body ) Doors open at 8 A.M arrive early!!!
It will be a long day of yoga classes, 30 minute meditations while chanting with live music, accompanied by asanas (body positions) mudras (hand & finger positions), pranayama (breath and breathing techniques) mantras (sacred sound currents) and an evening kirtan with Mirabia Ceiba.

2010 Features : Mirabai Ceiba, Nina Rao (assistant to Krishna Das), Eddy Nataraj, Sitas Light, Fumio Tanaguchi, Ginny Mackles, Suan Armstrong, Harnam Singh, Gibran Hurtado, Bret DuBack and more....
Saturday evening concert / kirtan with Mirabai Ceiba. A musical project created by Angelika Baumbach from Mexico / U.S. (Vocals and Harp) & Markus Sieber from Germany (Vocals and Guitar) Sunday will be more yoga classes and possibly un- plugged music... Stay Tuned

Food for thought: for those who want to camp again this year I suggest arriving Friday evening as to be there early on Saturday and to consider staying over for Sunday, there are Inn’s, B&B’s, and Motels within a 8 mile radius...
If you choose to stay over for optional Sunday, this year a bonus relaxation day. We will have yoga on Sunday morning, out doors in the historic valley of Housatonic Meadows camping area along the rivers edge (weather permitting) All are welcome. Mark your calendars and if you are coming please pre-register early ! If you can not join us for our 3rd 700 VOICES EVENT you may want to come to our Annual Yearly FULL MOON National Park Camp Out in Yellowstone National Park... August 21-24 , 2010 Yellowstone N.P.

It is my pleasure to share this technology of the science of yoga, conscience eating, and mantra, the science of sound & rhythm.
